Significant numbers of these pellets lay on the ground beneath trees which hosted Letter-winged Kites' nest.
Along a nearby gully was a warren of Long-haired Rat burrows and near several of the entrances was furry evidence of rats having suffered traumatic experiences.
I didn't analyse the contents of these pellets but I'm guessing a good portion of it used to be rat.
